Completed in 2008 (and blessed by Cardinal Francis George), the one-of-a-kind monstrance depicts Mary alongside the heavenly bodies described in the Fourth Marian dogma of her Assumption into heaven.
When we say Our Lady of the Sign is the world's largest monstrance, we mean it, as the hand-carved masterpiece stands at a whopping 9 feet tall!
As with all monstrances, at the center is that of Jesus Himself in the form of the Holy Eucharist.
Our Lady of the Sign - Ark of Mercy is located in St. Stanislaus' adoration chapel and is available to visit 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
